Teens aren't abandoning Facebook

A lot of angst in AdLand lately over a Piper Jaffray study claiming teens are leaving social in droves. Twitter, for example digs up these gems:

Cliff Watson over on Medium, thankfully cuts through all the hyperventilating:

"The Number One Reason Kids Don’t Need Facebook? They Literally Don’t Need Facebook."

Not to be flippant, that’s not the only reason, but it sure sums up his reasoning nicely.

Social never had a good ROI, and I think people (finally) are starting to realize this. All we’re seeing is social maturing.
